AmaZulu, always dangerous at their best, will need to bring intensity and focus if they are to leave the Cape Winelands outfit rattled.
Saturday Evening Fixtures
Sekhukhune United open the 17:30 slot against Durban City at Seshego Stadium in Polokwane. Babina Noko are always difficult to break down on their home patch, and Durban City will need to be organised and disciplined to avoid leaving Limpopo empty-handed.
The standout fixture of the entire weekend arrives under the Nelspruit lights at 20:00, when Kruger United face a Kaizer Chiefs side that never fails to attract attention. Mbombela Stadium is a venue that has produced memorable nights before, and Chiefs supporters will travel in numbers hoping Amakhosi can deliver the kind of performance their passionate fanbase craves. Kruger United, playing at home, will not be intimidated – this clash promises to be the talking point of the weekend.
Sunday’s Double-header
The weekend closes out with two Sunday fixtures. Richards Bay host Polokwane City at Richards Bay Stadium at 15:00 in what shapes up as a competitive mid-table contest between two sides keen to build momentum. Neither club will want to fall behind early in the campaign.
The final curtain falls at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein at 17:30, where Siwelele take on TS Galaxy.
